After doing the formal portraits, it was time to have fun -- it was time to get low for the Edmond, OK prom photos of the guys
Ok, I have done my thing, with the backdrop but then I remember I have my Petzval lens in the bag. It just gives the image and the back ground such a different view/look
Sometimes you just have to have fun! And for these Edmond, OK. seniors, going to their last prom, this was the moment.

As a kid, holidays were not all that much. But as an adult, I discovered the "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead) celebrations and I was hooked. I watched the event in Fort Lauderdale grow from less than 500 people to over 10,000 in five years. And I found the Plaza District sponsors a celebration. Thank you God!

I have lived most of my life in Oklahoma and I have had never felt an earthquake. But after moving back to Oklahoma, we were shocked by the number of earthquakes we experienced. Getty Images allowed me to work a project on fracking, which, now, almost every one admits causes earthquakes. Oklahoma now has more earthquakes than any place in the world. Homer Ferrell built his underground house to guard against everything except for earthquakes. Now the family sleeps in a couple of rooms, afraid the house may collapse on them. He said simply, "the earthquakes have ruined us".
I have started a personal project - looking at the growing Mexican community in Oklahoma City. I, recently, went to a Quinceanera. And one of my favorite moments was when the mother and daughter posed for photos.
The thing I miss most about no longer living in south Florida is the Ocean and the wildlife. I had, only, to go into my backyard to see wildlife. The birds, the lizards, the turtles - you never knew what you would see in my backyard. Now I sit in the backyard trying to get photos of the birds at the feeder. Today, I finally got a photo of the cardinal
